Underlayment’s

Ice and water shield is the best product for eaves and valleys, this is standard for the roofs we install.
Synthetic underlayment is the best product for the rest of the roof. Some companies still install inferior 15# felt claiming that synthetic does breath but either does plain 15# felt. (Perforated does breath but does not meet Alberta Building Code).
